Ten participants of the 45th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSYEAP) namely; Ono Takayuki, Japan, Muhammad Naim Luqman Bin Rohizan, Malaysia, Donny Ramadhan, Indonesia, Aung Zayya Kyaw Khaung, Myanmar, Muhammad Ar Huzaifi Samani, Indonesia, Kaung Htut Hlaing, Myanmar, Kuntiyavong Pathana, Laos, Muhammad Nasri Bin Sadi, Malaysia, Lim Zi Wang, Singapore and Nabil Fikri, Brunei paid a courtesy call to City Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz at the City Hall of San Pedro, Nov 19. They were accompanied by the host families of Mr. Rommel Gerodias (Poblacion) and Mr. Mark Angelo Antonio (Pacita Complex). The homestay program seeks to provide participants local cultural experiences that they can bring home in their respective countries. In her message, Mayor Cataquiz wished the youth participants a fruitful trip with the hope that the City of San Pedro will have a niche in their hearts. She also urged them to serve humanity. Former Mayor Calixto R. Cataquiz, Councilor Bernadette Olivares, ABC President Diwa Tayao, SK President Earl Gius Castasus and representatives from the Tourism Culture and Arts Office were also present in this occasion.
