MECHANICS
- Each team is composed of five (5) members and one (1) coach. Pre-registration is required through FORM 1 and must be submitted to CADAC Office on or before November (tba)2019.
ALL BADAC are required to participate as part of the Capability Enhancement.
- Barangay Captain
- Peace and Order Chairman
- SK Chairman/Kagawad/Any Youth Representative
- Faith-based organization
- Non-government Organization
- One Coach (secretary or barangay council member)
- There will be three (3) round in the competition EASY, AVERAGE and DIFFICULT
Elimination round shall be done among twenty-seven (27) Barangays in the same venue, date and time.
- Ten (10) groups will be chosen after the elimination round and will compete for the final round.
- During the Quiz Bee proper teams will be given the minimum of 15 questions. TOP five (5) teams will advance to the final round
Questions Category
EASY ROUND Five (5) Questions , two (2) points each
AVERAGE ROUND Five (5) Questions, three (3) points each
DIFFICULT ROUND Five (5) Questions , five (5) points each
- The Quiz Master will read each question twice. The BADAC participants will only start writing their answer after the QM says GO. Fifteen (15) seconds will be given for participants to write their answer. The BADAC who are finished writing their answer should raise their pens.
- A buzzer or bell will signal that 15 seconds has already lapsed and all participants must raise their boards/papers for checking by designated proctors.
- In the event of a tie, teams with the same number of points will go to the QUALIFIER ROUND . In this round BADAC with the wrong answer will automatically be eliminated until there are only 10 teams left.
- Wrong SPELLING shall be considered WRONG. The QM will announce the correct answer.
- In case of questions as to the given answers it will answered by the concerned agencies, DDB, PDEA, DILG and PNP.
- Questions are excerpted from the issuances and circulars related to anti-illegal drugs campaign from Dangerous Drugs Board Regulations (DDB) , Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Republic Act 9165- “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act” and R.A. 7160 –The Local Government Code
- Winning BADACs will receive:
- FIRST PRIZE
- SECOND PRIZE
- THIRD PRIZE
- CONSOLATION PRIZES
- The Certificate of Participation will be distributed after the event to ALL BADAC
