City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) and Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) conducted a Workshop on Capacity Building on Community Assessment on Local Anti-Drug Plan of Action organized by the City Planning and Development Coordinator’s Office (CPDCO), participated in by Barangay Captains and representatives from 27 barangays of the City of San Pedro at Pavilion Hall, City Hall Building, Dec. 3-5. Dra. Raquel Tolentino, CADCA Chairman of the Phil., emphasized that one of the coalition’s purpose is to have strong representatives in every barangay who will religiously help and attend to the strict implementation of the objectives of the organizations. She asked the participants to prepare their own action plan for their guidance. Orientation Lecture on CADCA Coalition Building Efforts and Role of Coalitions in ADAC’s and BADAC’s were discussed followed by Community Assessment Workshop and an open forum to be sure that they are all clarified with the discussions given. Mr.Diosdado Barquiran, Vice Pres. LGU Tanay, and Mr. Primo Angelo San Juan, AADAC Philippines Secretary, P/Supt. Giovanni S. Martinez were also present during the said seminar.
