Former Mayor Calixto R. Cataquiz, Sansui President Teru Taka Oshikawa and Sansui Vice President Odessa A. Eugenio took lead as Sansui Sangyo Philippines commences its operations on September 14, 2018 with the blessing of its business plant at Villa Antonio, Barangay Narra, City of San Pedro. Sansui Sangyo engages into offshore engineering works such as breakwater, reclamation, seaport design and construction servicing the local and national government projects in Japan. The firm will soon be a source of income to the San Pedro constituents as it is set to recruit manpower from the locals.
Other witnesses to the inauguration were Barangay Bagong Silang Chairman Ildefonso Perez, Barangay Narra Chairman Ernesto Doncillo, City Legal Officer Atty. Don Luna, City Business Permit License Officer Elsa Santos and PNP Chief PSupt Giovanni Martinez. Fr. Jaime Niego presided over the ceremonies.
