The National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP), in partnership with the Department of the
Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Cyber City Teleservices Philippines Inc. (CCTP)
launched in synergy the eGov Awards for LGUs in 2012. The City of San Pedro became one of the finalists in this prestigious competition this year, which was held at Legazpi City, Albay.
The programs implemented by the City Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) were considered and highly regarded by the panel of judges. The implemented programs are as follows:
1) Rolling out Business One Stop Shop (BOSS)
2) Opening of the Tax Payers Lounge
3) The use of the Business Permits and Licensing System (Software)
4) The inclusion of the City Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) page to the official website ofthe City of San Pedro. The BPLO page includes downloadable forms, organizational chart, online scheduling and useful information connected with securing business permits and licensing.
