Nagsasagawa ng seminar/training on Civil Registration and Related Laws ang Local Civil Registrar sa pamumuno ni Mario Liwanag noong March 29 sa Multi-Purpose Hall, City Hall of San Pedro. Layunin nito na malaman ang kahalagahan ng Civil Registration at madagdagan ang kaalaman ukol sa pagpaparehistro at higit sa lahat mabawasan ang mataas na bilang ng clerical error dulot ng mga maling gawa ng birth certificate.
Ipinaliwanag ni Registration Officer Salvacion S. Gomez ng Philippine Statistics Authority-San Pablo City ang Batas RA 9048 change of first name, Batas RA 9255 (AUSF) Authority to Use the Surname of the Father at Batas RA 10172 Correction of Clerical error. Pinag-usapan rin kung paano magparehistro at magsubmit ng birth, marriage, death at fetal certificates.
