November 29, 2016 –Vernet Nico Pavino, CDRRMO Officer-in-Charge, accepted the award, in behalf of Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz, given by GAWAD KALASAG 2016 in Appreciation of her Leadership in the Implementation of Disaster Management Programs.
The awarding ceremony was held at Development Academy of the Philippines, Tagaytay City. Also present in the event was Ernesto Pagkalinawan, Administration and Training Officer San Pedro CDRRMO.
The GAWAD KALASAG is the country’s premier annual awards for outstanding contribution in the fields of disaster risk reduction and management and humanitarian assistance.
