The members of the the City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Council (CDRRMC) meet up today, September 26 at the Ceremonial Hall, to discuss the City’s preparedness protocol and other important matters such as the council’s reorganization, the participation of MERALCO and PLDT in the risk reduction efforts and the participation of the City of San Pedro in the incoming Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill to be held on September 28, 2016 at Southwoods City, Biñan.
Vernet Nico Pavino, the new City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) officer-in-charge was introduced in the said meeting. City Mayor Lourdes S. Cataquiz is the head CDRRMC. She was represented by City Administrator Engr. Fil Sibulo in the meeting.
