Pursuant to its mandate as the principal health agency in the Philippines, and due to the high prevalence of children affected by intestinal parasitic infections, the Department of Health (DOH) in coordination with the City Health Office of San Pedro will conduct deworming activities for pre-school children ( 1 – 4 years old) and school-aged children (5 – 12 years old) on the following dates:
January 18, 2016 – door to door deworming on all barangays within the City of San Pedro
January 27, 2016 – deworming activities to be held in schools
The said deworming activity will run for 20 days.
